Application Process:

1. Create a teacher account
2. Complete your professional profile
3. Upload required documents
4. Record and upload introduction video
5. Submit application for review
6. Wait for approval (24-48 hours)
7. Complete onboarding training

Profile Essentials:

• Professional Photo: Clear, friendly, professional headshot
• Compelling Bio: Highlight your expertise and teaching style
• Qualifications: List all relevant certificates and degrees
• Teaching Experience: Detail your teaching background
• Subjects: Select all subjects you can teach
• Hourly Rate: Set competitive pricing ($15-$50/hour typical)
• Languages: List languages you teach in

Setting Your Schedule:

1. Go to "Availability" in your dashboard
2. Select days of the week you're available
3. Set time slots for each day
4. Mark any holidays or time off
5. Update regularly to reflect changes

Before Each Lesson:

1. Review student's profile and goals
2. Prepare relevant materials
3. Test your camera and microphone
4. Ensure stable internet connection
5. Have backup materials ready

During the Lesson:

• Start on Time: Join 5 minutes early
• Professional Setup: Good lighting, quiet environment
• Engage Students: Interactive teaching methods
• Use Tools: Whiteboard, screen sharing, file sharing
• Take Notes: Track student progress
• Assign Homework: Give practice materials

How to Share Materials:

1. During or after the lesson, click "Upload Materials"
2. Select files (PDF, DOC, PPT, images)
3. Add description for each file
4. Click "Upload"
5. Students can download from their dashboard

How You Get Paid:

1. Complete the lesson successfully
2. Payment is held for 24 hours (review period)
3. After 24 hours, payment is released to your wallet
4. View earnings in "Finances" section
5. Withdraw to PayPal or bank account

Earnings Breakdown:

• Platform Fee: 20% (covers payment processing, support, marketing)
• Your Earnings: 80% of lesson price
• Example: $30 lesson = $24 for you, $6 platform fee

Withdrawal Process:

1. Minimum balance: $50
2. Go to "Finances" > "Withdraw"
3. Enter amount to withdraw
4. Select method (PayPal or Bank Transfer)
5. Confirm withdrawal
6. Receive funds in 3-5 business days

Common Issues and Solutions:

• Student No-Show: Wait 15 minutes, then report. You'll still get paid.
• Technical Issues: Try to resolve quickly. If lesson can't proceed, reschedule.
• Disruptive Student: Give one warning, then end lesson and report.
• Payment Dispute: Contact support with lesson details.
• Negative Review: Respond professionally and learn from feedback.
